Hawksmoor identified through their local knowledge, the strategic residential development potential of Roycroft Farm and made, in agreement with the landowner and his agent, planning representations to the Local Planning Authority. These representations ultimately led to the site being successfully identified within East Staffordshire Borough Council’s Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment as being suitable for development. Following a subsequent outline planning application by Hawksmoor’s retained client, Gleeson Developments Limited, and a Section 78 Planning Appeal against a planning refusal, outline planning permission was successfully granted in 2015 for the extension of Bramshall Road Park and up to 140 dwellings.
